Astronaut photograph ISS018-E-5353 was acquired on October 24, 2008, with a Nikon D2Xs digital camera fitted with an 800 mm lens, and is provided by the ISS Crew Earth Observations experiment and the Image Science & Analysis Laboratory, Johnson Space Center. The image was taken by the Expedition 18 crew.
The NASA Earth Observatory website features a sweet photo of Breckenridge and Copper Mountain shot last fall from the International Space Station. The image shows a great perspective of the Ten Mile Range.
If you stare intensely at your monitor you can see what looks like some gapers from Texas drinking Lone Star beer on I-70, and a group of Summit County locals smoking weed in the Loaf N’ Jug parking lot.
